Visions of Christmas in a Small Mayberry Town

Historic Granville will open its 2020 Christmas Season entitled “Visions of Christmas in a Small Mayberry Town” on November 13th and 14th. The Festival of Trees at Granville Museum will open with 30 beautifully decorated Christmas Trees. The festival features unique trees showcasing talents of several counties as well as Christmas designs of current and past. The Historic Sutton Home will feature Christmas tours entitled “ Christmas Memories” with beautiful trees in each room of the 1880's home. The Antique Car Museum will host a Antique Toy Show featuring toys of the last 100 years.

Granville Gifts, Southern Shops of Granville, Sutton General Store, Granville Arts & Culture Center, Quilters Attic and Granville Broom Works will have a Christmas Open House on November 13th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and November 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The opening will feature a Ladies Fashion Show at Granville Event Center featuring the latest in fashion and special I Love Lucy entertainment by Kimberly Reinking. Safety guidelines

will be followed with six foot distancing and masks required in all buildings. Reservations are required for Fashion Show Luncheon by calling 931-653-4151 with a maximum of 50 at each luncheon.

The two day celebration will feature hot cider at historic Williamson Cabin and old time craftsmen in village demonstrating and selling their unique items. Granville will also have the opening of the 2020 Christmas Characters on parade featuring 175 hand painted Christmas Characters. For more
