Historic Granville- Tennessee’s Mayberry Town opened the 2021 Christmas Season on November 12th with a "Holiday Magic" theme. Highlighting the theme are the Christmas Characters on Parade that create a Hallmark Movie Town image for our visitors. The streets of Granville are decorated with 225 hand painted Christmas characters and scenes, including thousands of lights which offer an opportunity to view characters and other decorations during the day and at night.
Granville is also celebrating the Christmas Season with their annual Festival of Trees with some 25 beautifully decorated Christmas trees in the Exhibit Center of Granville Museum. Visitors will also enjoy Christmas Tours of the Historic 1880's Sutton Home, an Antique Toy Show, Christmas in the Country at Farm to Table Museum, a Pioneer Christmas at 1820's
Log Cabin, a Special Christmas Celebration at Mayberry Lucy Museum and Decanter Museum. Great holiday southern cooking can be enjoyed at lunch at Sutton General Store and unique shopping is available at all shops.
A $5.00 town tour ticket provides access to all attractions and will help you celebrate "Holiday Magic" in Tennessee’s Mayberry Town. Granville is open Wednesday thru Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Saturday 11:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m. The Sutton Ole Time Music Hour has Christmas Bluegrass Dinner Shows during December by reservation.
