The 5th Annual Mayberry Lucy Festival is set to take place in Granville: Tennessee’s Mayberry Town. This small rural historic town will be bustling with activity on April 11 and 12. The eagerly anticipated Mayberry and I Love Lucy Festival promises a delightful experience for all attendees, featuring a variety of activities, performances, and attractions.
The festival kicks off with a unique Granville tradition, The Mayberry Dinner Theater on Thursday evening, April 10. Guests will enjoy a live performance of two beloved Mayberry episodes, promising an evening filled with laughter and nostalgia. The two episodes presented are “A Plaque for Mayberry” honoring Ken Junkin, Otis Tribute Artist and “The Fun Girls” in recognition of Dixie Griffith and Michelle Bryson, Fun Girls Tribute Artists. Other Andy Griffith Show Tribute Artists will join them, providing the entertainment during intermission. Reservations are required www.granvilletn.com or by calling 931-653-4151.
A Fun-filled Day
Throughout the festival, entertainment will be provided by various Mayberry and I Love Lucy tribute artists, ensuring that the spirit of Mayberry and Lucy are alive and well. On Friday and Saturday, April 11 and 12, visitors can expect a fun-filled day with plenty of options to keep everyone entertained including look-alike and chocolate candy-wrapping contests.
Historic Granville provides a wealth of activities found only in this town, a variety of delicious foods, shopping opportunities, craft booths, ten museums and historic sites to explore. One must-see attraction is the Mayberry and I Love Lucy Museum, which features new materials for enthusiasts to enjoy.

Festival-goers will have the opportunity to meet authors such as Randy Turner, Russell Estes, Karen Knotts, and others. These authors will be available to autograph their books. Throughout the day, there will be performances by Allen Newsome, a Floyd tribute artist, Keith Thibodeaux who was Little Ricky on the I Love Lucy Show, and also Johnny Paul one of Opie’s Pals on the Andy Griffith Show. He will be joined by Dennis Rush who was Opie’s pal, Howie, and Carrie and Jeff Ketterman, tribute artists for Lucy and Desi. These artists will entertain and delight the crowd with their performances. Other new sessions added to this year's festival include "An Afternoon with Andy and Don’s Kids” where Randy Turner will interview Dixie Griffith, Andy's daughter, and Karen Knotts, Don's daughter. Other exciting new performances include "Andy and Floyd Meet Lucy and Ricky," and "The Mainstreet in Mayberry" stage sessions, where multiple tribute artists will entertain audiences with scenes from classic Mayberry episodes, such as “Sew Your Fingers Up" featuring Gomer and Goober and the Fun Girls. Elvis Tribute Artist comes to Granville

Music lovers will be thrilled to know that the 2025 schedule includes spectacular musical performances. Wayne Euliss, Elvis tribute artist, will have everyone "All Shook Up" with his concert performance. Christie McLendon will not only sing as Charlene with the Darlings (One Way Out Band) but will also entertain the audience with her concert. Christie has been in several movies, you can see her as Ms. Pebblebook in “Re-education of Molly Singer”.
Mayberry Quilt
This year, attendees will have an opportunity to take home a unique Mayberry Quilt. Each block of this quilt represents an episode from "The Andy Griffith Show," ensuring you'll be wrapped in warmth and fond memories. It will be auctioned at 3PM. See the schedule at www.granvilletn.comfor details.
Squad Car Nationals
For car enthusiasts, the festival has a lot to offer. The Squad Car Nationals Obstacle Course Competition and the Mayberry Cruise-In are both exciting events. On Saturday at 3 PM, these squad cars and cruise vehicles will join the Tribute Artists for the "Here Comes Everybody" parade down Clover Street.
Wrap-It-Up Grand Finale: An Unmissable Event
Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the Wrap-It-Up Grand Finale! This spectacular celebration takes place across five different venues, each offering unique entertainment and mouth-watering Southern cuisine. Enjoy a delightful meal of fried fish or fried chicken with all the trimmings, while being serenaded by Elvis (Tribute Artist Wayne Euliss).
Don't miss the "Best Moments of the Andy Griffith and I Love Lucy Shows" presented at four locations. See The Darlings with Tribute Artist Christie McLendon as Charlene at the cabin, and enjoy Christie in concert. The Mayberry Tribute Artists will be divided between the Gazebo and the Granville United Methodist Church. Meanwhile, Tribute Artists Carrie Ketterman and Rick Ketterman will perform as Lucy and Ricky, Keith Thibodeaux as Little Ricky, will join them on the drums at the Presbyterian Church.
