Granville Celebrated Joe Moore Day  

A Granville resident, Joe was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Tennessee Future Farmers of America.  Joe was pictured on the cover of Time magazine on October 24, 1955,  He is pictured here with his family.

Granville Century Farm Award 

Each year a local farm is recognized for operating a family farm for at least 100 years.  This year's award was presented to Anne Holleman Turner and the Holleman Farm.

Eugene Duke

Friend of Granville Museum Award

Selected for their support of the Granville Museum and the work of Historic Granville, this year's award was presented to Sheriff Mary Hinson.

Granville Honors Fields Family  

Granville honored the Fields family for the relationship they developed with Vincent B. "Little Moe" DeNardo during World War II maneuvers. DeNardo returned to Granville each year from 1949-1970 and photographed families and daily life in Granville.  Those photos are an important part of Granville Museum.
