Granville has so much to offer during the Christmas Season and everyone is invited to experience Historic Granville: "Tennessee's Mayberry Town". Enjoy a Festival of Trees, a Ladies Luncheon & Fashion Show, Antique Toy Show, Christmas Characters on Parade, great gift shopping and so much more. A "must see" this year is the Sutton Historic Homestead. Each room has been decorated featuring a familiar Christmas storybook with a themed tree in each room. Take advantage of special events or just come to get into the Spirit of Christmas! Town Tour Tickets are $7.00 each will give you access to all attractions and ensure you don't miss anything!

Mayberry Christmas Dinner Theatre

"Citizens Arrest"

Our Mayberry Dinner Theatre is one of our most popular events. Join us in December for something special to add to your Christmas celebration. Your meal will be served at the historic Sutton General Store Dining Room, and the performances will be held at our spacious Event Center, just steps from the store. A great meal and a live performance is sure to bring you some Christmas joy!

Granville's Country Christmas:

"A Storybook Christmas"

Our Country Christmas & Parade will make you feel like you have stepped back in time to a place where life was so much simpler. Our theme for 2025 is "A Storybook Christmas." Discover again the magic of the holiday season by celebrating with us in Granville. Last year, Granville was selected as one of six Best Towns in Tennessee for Christmas, and we will be committed to that in 2025. Please make plans to join us for the decorations, the music and activities for all ages including a parade and a visit by the man himself, Santa Claus. A $7.00 Festival Fee entitles you to access all Granville attractions.

The celebration begins with Breakfast with Santa. A "Come and Go Event" with a special breakfast will be served from 8:30 - 10:30 am at the Event Center. Reservations are required for this event, and tickets may be purchased online or by calling 931-653-4151. Tickets for this event include Country Christmas Festival admission.

Don't miss "It's a Children's Storybook Christmas", a program of activities from 12:30 - 2:30 pm. Imaginations will soar with enchanting Christmas stories told by our lively storytellers. Kids can unleash their creativity with festive crafts and create their own keepsake to remember the day. The excitement will continue with special entertainment. At 3:00 pm the Christmas Parade will be followed by a visit with Santa Claus. These afternoon activities are included in the Country Christmas Festival admission.

The Lovely Find Tea Room will offer a special holiday experience with elegant tea service, gentle carols, and cozy fellowship in a lovely holiday setting filled with vintage charm.

Your afternoon tea includes: a pot of your choice of one of our hand blended teas, a freshly prepared warm scone with Chantilly cream, a cup of delicious soup followed by a three-tiered tray of fruits, sandwiches and holiday confections.

Reservations are encouraged and may be made by calling 931-653-4761. (Because hot beverages are being served, guests must be above 5 years of age.)

Throughout Granville, the town will be aglow with beautiful Christmas decorations, setting the perfect holiday mood. Your ticket for the fashion show and luncheon also includes a Town Tour, making it a full day of holiday cheer.
