WCTE TV to Feature "The Best of the Sutton Ole Time Music Hour"

The Sutton General Store- Sutton Ole Time Music Hour, Granville and WCTE TV announced today that "The Best of the Sutton Olé Time Music Hour" will air on Channel 22 beginning on February 2nd at 7:00 p.m.

This is a four part series called “The Best of The Sutton Ole Time Music Hour “It was shot live In Granville, Tennessee in the T. B. Sutton General Store. It will air at 7:00 p.m. with the following bands featured:

February 2nd Tennessee Mafia Jug Band,
February 9th John Tomlin & Co.,
February 23rd The Rigneys
March 2nd Code of the Hills.



The four programs will air again three more times throughout
the year of 2017. This program will also be airing on the Tennessee Channel at a later date to be announced. WCTE is channel 22 via antenna and Dish & Direct. Local cable companies may vary so people can call their cable company if they are not familiar with the station on their network.

This taping was made possible by a grant from the Tennessee Department of Tourism program “ The Soundtrack of America- Made in Tennessee."

The Sutton Ole Time Music Hour began in April, 2008 and has occurred each Saturday night since that time with a family style dinner at 5:00 and 6:30 p.m. With music beginning at 6:00 p.m. and live taping at 7:00 p.m.

Chris Neeley, Technical Support Manager of Sutton Ole Time Music Hour stated that the show airs each week on 45 radio and online stations, with listeners in all 50 States and 153 countries around the world.

Sam Stout creator of the show stated the show brings each week the best in bluegrass and old time music. Since 2008, we have achieved and preserved over 450 live performances. The 1880 Sutton General Store has just been chosen by Country Living Magazine as one of the "Thirteen Most Charming General Stores in America."

Each week reservations can be made for the show by calling 931-653-4151 With up to 50 seated at each dinner seating.
